It is no secret that 3D printing and digital dentistry are taking the world. Digital modes of design and appliance fabrication are slowly taking over more traditional and analogue ways of practising dentistry.
I am a Sydney-based private general dentist who presents regularly on dental 3D printing and digital design. What started off as a hobby many years ago has now become a full-time passion for myself. My passion has taken me all around the world from the US, Europe, Asia and of course Australia where I am based.
From simple models to printing zirconia, I have printed almost all printable dental applications available in the global market and I am proud to have operated no less than 30 different printers so far in my career.
I have been teaching dentists and technicians how to integrate additive technologies to their workplaces for several years and I am a Key Opinion Leader for several digital dentistry-related companies. My knowledge is based on true hands-on experience. When I’m not designing a surgical guide, printing a splint or polishing a printed crown, you can find me glued to a screen designing printable table organisers or nesting a helmet for my cats in a slicer.
Amongst individual speaking events globally, I run a popular 3-day workshop (Zero to Hero) in Australia several times a year and I run a 2-day workshop in Malaysia usually once a year. I also manage the Bread and Butter Digital Dentistry Study Club in Sydney which has 4 nightly events and 3 one-day workshops per year.
