Dr Jason Erasmus

Jason Erasmus completed his dental training at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, and received his BChD degree in 1990. After graduating, he completed his medical training also at the University of Stellenbosch and received his MBChB degree in 1993. Staying on at the University of Stellenbosch, he completed his five-year Oral and Maxillofacial residency, receiving his Masters degree, MChD, cum laude in 1999.

After a 12-month implant residency in Europe, he entered private practice in Cape Town at the end of 2000, where he focused mainly on orthognathic and implant surgery.

Jason is currently on staff at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Christchurch hospital, where he practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including facial trauma and facial reconstruction. He is also in part time private practice at Milford Chambers, St Georges Hospital.
