Tim graduated dental school at the University of Queensland in 2009 and joined the Royal Australian Airforce as a dental officer.

In 2012 Dr Tim left Townsville and the Air Force to work as a general dentist in Noosa. In 2018 Tim completed his Paediatric dentistry training at the University of Melbourne and moved back to the Sunshine Coast.

He is a Major in the Army, consultant for Queensland Health and works in private practice on the Sunshine Coast.
