Soft tissue management around teeth and dental implants for health and aesthetics

What considerations are required for treatment of gingival and peri-implant mucosal recession.

I will discuss the aetiology of soft tissue recession and the principles of soft tissue grafting/regeneration, patient factors that may affect success and periodontal/peri-implant management to maintain health.

Thorough periodontal assessment, pre-implant planning and optimal surgical technique is important to maintain aesthetics in the long-term.

Long-term follow-up with case examples will be presented.
