Misha is a Partner at Australasian law firm Wotton + Kearney. Misha has a particular focus on the health and life science sectors, and in product liability claims, areas where she is able to utilise her science degree, majoring in genetics. She regularly assists healthcare practitioners in coronial inquiries, HDC complaints and disciplinary investigations and provides regulatory and claims advice to life insurers and healthcare practices. In this session, we will look at emerging health technologies and the Therapeutic Products Bill (the first draft was released in December 2022), which will reform the Medicines Act 1981, including its possible impact on the use of dental instruments and products.
